In 2023, Anne Paceo will be at the origin of a unique and inspiring project, the creation of a cine-concert around the mythical documentary Nanouk L’Esquimau!

Robert Flaherty’s documentary, first broadcast in 1922, will be brought to life by a set of 3 musicians and a music composed especially for the occasion. With Anne Paceo as composer and percussionist, accompanied by Laura Perrudin on harp and Gauthier Toux on keyboards, the musical creation will take place on 17 March at the CRD at Bourg-la-Reine for a screening for schools and on 18 March for two screenings for the general public.

In a second phase, the project will be hosted at the TNB at Rennes, on 26 March for a screening for the general public and on 27 March for two school screenings.

Anne Paceo will be in concert at the national scene Les Gémeaux on 25 and 26 November. Both concerts are sold out!

On November 22nd and 23rd I will be the guest of the percussionist Lucie Antunes for her “carte Blanche” at the Vauban in Brest, alongside Piers Faccini (voice, guitar) and Vincent Segal (cello)

I am delighted to become an ambassador of the association Clowns Sans Frontières – France! 

Over the past few years I had the chance to play music and teach in many countries. When I think back on all those trips and encounters, images that come to mind the most are smiles. There is something universal about live performance and artistic practices. They abolish all boundaries to make room for wonder, laughter, discovery, and the inner journey, reconnecting us with our emotions. I believe that they summon the most beautiful part of our humanity.

I remember this phrase that was said to me: “the most important thing is to love people”. This is what I feel when I come into contact with the teams of Clowns Without Borders. With great commitment, passion, and generosity, they provide access to live entertainment and artistic practices, and their benefits, for everyone, without distinction, in France and around the world.
