I’m delighted to announce the release today of Piers Faccini’s remix of “reste un oiseau”. I’ve been listening to his music for years, and his latest album, “shapes of the fall”, has completely enchanted me. I think it’s the album I’ve listened to the most in 2021. Last year we crossed paths several times on the radio and at festivals, and then last December Lucie Antunes brought us together and, with Vincent Segal, we spent 2 days improvising together. What I like about Piers, among other things, is his openness to music from all over the world and his broad musical culture. He chose the title “reste un oiseau” to take him into new territories I could never have imagined. I hope you enjoy this remix as much as I do!
